This was in order to consolidate a triple helix strategy, articulating and energizing the innovation ecosystem of Ecuador between industry, academia, and the public sector, thus carrying out the innovation technological mission in Bogotá and Medellin.

We visited Jorge Tadeo Lozano at the Universidad de Bogotá, as well as its robotics and computer centers, project development, and biosystems. We were able to observe its training strategies in research oriented to innovation and development for students.

In addition, we visited Connect Bogotá, an organization that promotes meetings between public and private networks to promote innovation in scientific and technological fields in order to generate impact and improve competitiveness and quality of life in Latin America.

In Medellín, we visited Ruta n. This innovation and business center develops different programs and services to facilitate the inclusive and sustainable economic evolution of the city towards intensive business in science, technology, and innovation, promoting an innovative culture, employment generation, institutions strengthening, talent training, and access to markets.

We also visited the Medellín Chamber of Commerce for Antioquia. This entity promotes the development and competitiveness of companies through different types of clusters, relevant elements for developing business projects, and all the necessary factors for business management that promotes a regional projection of their projects in the market.

We greatly appreciate all the members of the different entities in Colombia, who provided us with key information for the development of the strategies to promote innovation and technology transfer in our own country.
