SOT, CCCuenca, and MIPRO form alliances with CEDIA.

In recent months we have made several strategic alliances with public and private institutions which will allow us to promote and advance our projects and initiatives in favor of innovation and research. Among the signed agreements we can find:

El pasado mes de diciembre se realizó la firma del convenio interinstitucional entre la Superintendencia de Ordenamiento Territorial, Uso y Gestión del Suelo - SOT y CEDIA.

  • Agreement with SOT

Last December the signing of the inter-institutional agreement between the Superintendency of Land Use and Land Management - SOT and CEDIA was completed.

The agreement was signed on Friday, December 22 by Architect Fernando Cordero, Director of SOT, and Engineer Juan Pablo Carvallo Vega, Executive Director of CEDIA. This institutional approach aims to strengthen points of mutual interest through the use of new technologies, focusing efforts on development and research.


  • Agreement with the Cuenca Chamber of Commerce

The Cuenca Chamber of Commerce and Red CEDIA, signed an institutional cooperation agreement on December 29, an agreement that seeks to encourage joint support of activities and common points that will promote development, innovation, and research. This agreement is made based on our initiative called the CEDIA Challenge, an initiative that seeks to link and create a direct communication channel between industry and academia.

  • Agreement with MIPRO

On January 19 in the city of Quito, we signed an inter-institutional agreement with the Ministry of Industries and Productivity, MIPRO.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Javier Villavicencio, Undersecretary of Agribusiness and Agricultural Processing of the Ministry of Industries and Productivity, and Eng. Juan Pablo Carvallo, Executive Director of CEDIA. The purpose of this agreement is to promote the development of the country's research and innovation through the application of applied technologies.
